Helicopters - Helicopters again felt really RNG, either they were incredible or useless. Steel Division doesn't have ATGMs, anti-tank weapons are either extremely powerful, short range and immobile (Panzershreks etc), or decent range, power, and immobile and vulnerable (Direct-Fire ATGs), or Mobile, Powerful, Vulnerable and Expensive (Tank Destroyer Tanks). They have massive range, and feel very RNG, you either take out a super expensive unit in 1 hit or fire off all your ammo at shitty transports and then get hit by a tank once and die. This makes the number of units on the map much more manageable, and removes the cheesey tactic of probing enemy lines with cheap fodder units.ĪTGMs, Anti-Tank Guided Missiles in Wargame were really un-fun in my opinion, I didn't enjoy using them or having them used against me. Steel Division fixed this by making transport units disappear - unless they have a gun. Infantry Transport units in Wargame are either A) A pain in the ass cluttering up the battlefield, B) Cheap fodder to probe enemy lines for free.
